PDP Factional Chairman, Adeleke's Former Running Mate, Others Defect To APC
A factional Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State, Wale Ojo and the 2018 running mate to Senator Ademola Adeleke, Mr. Albert Adeogun have dumped the PDP for the All Progressives Congress (APC). Naija News reports the duo are part of the over ten thousand PDP members that defected to the APC on Tuesday ahead of the July 16 governorship election in Osun State.
The defectors were received officially by the Osun State Governor and APC candidate, Gboyega Oyetola and the APC National Secretary, Iyiola Omisore as well as other party leaders at a rally held at the freedom park in Osogbo, the state capital.
